Elmiron Eye Damage Injury Claims

Researchers have recently studied the potential link between Elmiron exposure and its effect on the retina and vision. According to the British Journal of Opthamology, a study found an association of macular disease with long-term use of pentosan polysulfate sodium. According to the American Academy of Opthamology, a study conducted by Kaiser Permanente found evidence linking the bladder medication Elmiron (pentosan polysulfate sodium) to retinal damage and eye conditions.

According to a study published in Retina (The Journal of Retinal and Vitreous Diseases), individuals with higher levels of exposure to Elmiron were more likely to report vision problems (such as difficulty reading small print) and have a diagnosis of pigmentary maculopathy and/or macular degeneration than those who did not use Elmiron.

If you or someone you love took Elmiron and were diagnosed with pigmentary maculopathy or have suffered from vision loss, retina damage or other eye conditions after taking Elmiron, you may be entitled to compensation from an Elmiron lawsuit or settlement.
