The American Cancer Society has estimated that there are about 57,600 newly diagnosed pancreatic cancer cases each year in the U.S.  According to a study that examined whether the use of proton pump inhibitors correlates with increased risk of pancreatic cancer, taking PPIs may correlate with increased risk of pancreatic cancer.

The American Cancer Society has estimated that there are about 27,600 newly diagnosed stomach cancer cases each year in the U.S.  According to several studies long-term treatment with proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) may be linked with increased an risk of gastric cancer.

Update: No longer accepting PPI cases.  However, another heartburn medication known as Zantac (Ranitidine) was the subject of a recall.  If you took Zantac or Ranitidine and were diagnosed with cancer, you may be entitled to compensation from a Zantac cancer lawsuit case.
