If you or a loved one were diagnosed with Breast Implant-Associated Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma BIA-ALCL after receiving Allergan breast implants, you may be entitled to compensation from a BIA-ALCL lawsuit or settlement.
A team of injury lawyers and class action attorneys is investigating potential lawsuit and settlement cases of women diagnosed with Breast Implant-Associated Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (BIA-ALCL).
Breast Implant-Associated Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma Lawsuit Cases
BIA-ALCL lawsuit and settlement cases potentially being investigated include claims of women who received Allergan breast implants and/or breast tissue expanders and were diagnosed with BIA-ALCL. BIA-ALCL is a form of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (a cancer of the immune system) called Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma that is associated with certain recalled breast implants, including Allergan breast implants.
The FDA has identified a possible association between breast implants and the development of ALCL. Moreover, an analysis from the FDA recently found that the risk of BIA-ALCL with Allergan Biocell textured implants is “approximately 6 times the risk of BIA-ALCL with textured implants from other manufacturers marketing in the U.S.”
BIA-ALCL is typically found in scar tissue and fluid near textured implants (although it can spread to other parts of the body). Unlike breast cancer, breast implant lymphoma does not originate in the breast tissue itself.
If you or someone you love were diagnosed with Breast Implant-Associated Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma BIA-ALCL, you may be entitled to compensation from a BIA-ALCL lawsuit or settlement. Contact an injury lawyer to request a free case review.
