On April 12, 2019, Fisher-Price issued a recall of all models of the Rock ‘n Play inclined baby sleeper products due to reports of deaths. According to the recall notice, infant fatalities have occurred in Rock ‘n Play Sleepers, after the infants rolled from their back to their stomach or side while unrestrained, or under other circumstances.

Approximately 4.7 million units were subject to the Rock ‘n Play Sleeper recall. Rock ‘n Play sleepers were sold at major retailers such as Target, Walmart, Amazon, and Toys ‘R Us/Babies ‘R Us, among others.

Fisher-Price Rock n’ Play Sleeper Lawsuit Cases

Rock ‘n Play lawsuit and settlement cases potentially being investigated include claims of parents and guardians that their babies or infants suffered serious injuries from a Fisher Price Rock n’ Play Sleeper, including, among others, the following:

  • flat head syndrome (plagiocephaly)
  • twisted neck syndrome (torticollis)
  • need to wear head-molding helmet
