A team of medical device injury lawyers and class action attorneys is investigating potential lawsuit cases and settlement claims of individuals who claim to have suffered from pulmonary sarcoidosis after using or being treated with a recalled Philips CPAP, BiPap or ventilator machine.
Pulmonary sarcoidosis is an interstitial lung disease (i.e., group of lung diseases characterized by the inflammation or scarring of the interstitium or tissue surrounding the lung’s air sacs, blood vessels and airways) in which tiny lumps, masses or patches of red or swollen inflammatory cells (called granulomas) grow in the lungs and remain inflamed, potentially leading to scarring of the lungs or pulmonary fibrosis.
