What is a Juul Vaping Device?

Juul vape devices are one of the most popular e-cigarettes, particularly amongst young adults and teenagers. Juul e-cigarettes use nicotine salts (protonated nicotine) from leaf based tobacco. Juul vaporizers are shaped like a USB flash drive and can be used with accessories such a USB charging dock or portable charrging case. Juul vape devices heat up Juulpods, i.e., cartridges that contain Juul liquids, to create an aerosol (commonly referred to as a vapor) that is inhaled.

Juulpods contain e-liquid comprised of propylene glycol and glycerine, benzoic acid (an ingredient found in tobacco), nocotine, and artifical flavoring such as Virginia Tobacco, Mango, Mint (formerly Cool Mint), Classic Tobacco, Menthol, Creme (formerly Creme Brulee), Fruit (formerly Fruit Medley) and Cucumber (formerly Cool Cucumber). According to Juul’s website, Juulpods contain cigarette-like strength nicotine levels via proprietary nicotine salts formula. Juul vape products are manufactured by Juul Labs, Inc.
